Trinity rise: Youth ministry

WHERE STUDENTS & young adults GROW IN connections & FAITH

vision

Trinity Rise is dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment that empowers the youth of Trinity AME Church through spiritual growth, community service, and personal development. Anchored in the rich traditions of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, our mission is to cultivate leaders who are grounded in faith, enlightened by education, and committed to the principles of Christian living. We strive to create opportunities for our youth to engage in meaningful ways within the church and the broader community, ensuring that each young person's journey is met with support, mentorship, and a deep sense of belonging.

Mission

The vision of Trinity Rise is to be a beacon of hope and a foundation of spiritual strength for the youth within our congregation and beyond. We envision a vibrant community where our young members are actively involved in shaping their futures, equipped with the tools for successful careers, and inspired to serve with a heart full of grace and a soul generated by love. We aim to see our youth leading with courage, serving with compassion, and excelling in all aspects of their lives. Trinity Rise aspires to bridge the gap between the lessons of our faith and the challenges of the world, ensuring that our youth grow into well-rounded, resilient, and spiritually enriched individuals.

A.M.E. YPD

The mission of the A.M.E. Church Young People's Division (YPD) is centered on providing a comprehensive training program for the youth of the African Methodist Episcopal Church that cultivates an environment for individual growth, personal development, and leadership. It emphasizes the importance of spiritual enlightenment, economic empowerment, and respect for all human dignity within the context of Christian principles. The YPD actively engages young people in the church's mission, nurturing their talents and preparing them to become informed and proactive contributors to the church and society.
